If there was one thing I learned in advertising, it's that "cute sells". Not only does it make you feel giddy and all chocolates-and-marshmallows inside, looking at cute things is therapeutic. It makes you want to smile and it makes you feel great.
One side that I found was TehCute. This site just had one cute picture and video after another! Check out some I have posted below!
The gaming world is buzzing this past week as Ouya, the indie gaming console that a Kickstarter campaign built, shipped out its first near-retail version of the product in the last few days to its founding major backers. It's aimed to revolutionize the whole structure and even the business model of gaming as it becomes the first console to be released as an open sourced program using the Android OS, which means absolutely anyone in the world will be free to develop and sell games on it through their online store. At the price of $99, it's obviously and admittedly less powerful than its major counterparts like the Sony PS3 or Microsoft's Xbox 360 even though it sports the same similar standard features that are expected of any console nowdays such as high definition visuals and sound, Bluetooth and online capabilities, etc. For a start up and as the first console of its kind, the specs don't sound half bad especially considering its price.
Unfortunately, bad reviews have already started surfacing, even as Ouya has already released an article on their blog stating that the version that has shipped out as of now is still part of the beta testing phase and should be considered a preview period exclusive to its backers, reminding us that its full retail version is yet to be finalized and released on June 4.
For now, Ouya is still slowly but surely progressing and is still making improvements as they have been since the beginning by listening to its supporters and taking suggestions and comments, which might just be the company's most differentiating factor to date, considering that they seem to be doing a very good job on taking advantage of their independent nature and being closer to their consumers unlike their more major counterparts. So what does the future hold for Ouya's idealistic aspirations? For now it is unclear, but one thing is for sure - now that the proverbial cat is out of the bag and the idea of an open sourced market for gaming consoles has materialized and has been proven to be at least doable, it will only be a matter of time until the business of video games is yet again changed forever.
If you have any thoughts or speculations about the future of Ouya, let us know by leaving a comment below!

White it is a bit more entertaining to actually see Mr. Green in all of the banners incorporating him into the games they advertise players to participate in, Mr. Green offers to double your first deposit plus 10 freespins on Starburst as well. One of the banners also says that there has been a winner in the jackpot and the amount of money that has been won. I think I just want to try my luck on that!

If you have already have an account with Poker Loco, one can sign in to Casino Loco using the same information. They have a promo for users to win a trip to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil!
I would say that playing in these online casinos were a lot of fun during the times I took a break from work, and felt like I needed to try some adventure while seated at the comfort of my home. So, now I would like to win that trip to Rio De Janeiro in Brazil! See you at the next post!
January is definitely Alzheimer's awareness month and a lot of people have made sure that it was. Knowing about it made me think about what scientific advances they have made by now. I read somewhere that while the experts in the field continually search for the cure, it has been discovered that symptoms can be delayed, or might even be prevented.
Helpguide.org has an article on precisely this. It states that by following the six pillars of a brain-healthy lifestyle will your brain be able to function longer and stay healthier. These are the following:
Regular exercise
Healthy diet
Mental stimulation
Quality sleep
Stress management
An active social life
Having mentioned mental stimulation, a website I have seen in advertisements for quite some time now is Lumosity and I have been wanting to try it for awhile now.
As I was signing up, checkboxes are being loaded for your choices. This helps for them to configure your training program. First step on the breadcrumbs is about Memory, and I checked everything I wanted to train on. From learning new subjects quickly and accurately, remembering names after the first introduction, recalling the location of objects, and keeping track of several ideas at the same time.
Second set is about attention. From concentrating while learning something new (everybody knows we all want to multitask, even the men!), avoiding distractions (focus!), improving productivity and precision at work or home, and maintaining focus on important tasks all day.
Third is speed. I think the world would move at a much faster pace than
it already is if we could actually work on speed (I, included). This set
focuses from decision-making in time-sensitive situations, reacting
quickly, adapting to changing environments, and speeding up cognitive
processes.
Fourth is flexibility: avoiding errors, multi-tasking quickly and efficiently, communicating clearly, and thinking outside the box. Hmm. I wonder what new ideas we from Oh, My! can come up with after we are through with this set of exercises.
Last but not the least is problem solving, focusing on making quick and accurate estimations, dissecting complex arguments, determining the best course of action, and calculating figures in your head.
This online find is definitely one of a kind. The effects of these exercises seem plausible enough to believe in. Their approach to exercise the brain is believable enough to try it. Alzheimer's or not, having a healthy brain is what everyone should aim for. Remember that as we grow old, we inevitably lose physical strength but one thing that would still make us walk a straight line or remember your grandchildren's children's name is your brain. So keep it healthy and keep it active as early as now. Do let us know if any improvements start to show after doing these exercises. We would love to hear about it!

Now that mostly everyone in the world has already started on the New Year, we think that we should have a recap of videos that were trending back in 2012. The perfect way to keep track of them, which started in 2011, is to visit Rewind 2012, of course.
Do not forget to check out Tube-A-Tweet-A-Thon. 1st Annual Tube-a-Tweet-a-Thon Holiday Spectacular! Presented by Virgin Mobile and What's Trending. Visit their site and do not miss out on what is trending when it comes to videos on the first day of the new year, 2013!
Yes, they are. I would say that they took a break to enjoy the holidays, and came right back up just before the New Year to continue on the promised 12 articles for this season.
While we promised this, we would like to write an article about the iPhone version of the strategy game of The Hobbit. I am happy to say that I actually went to the cinema at midnight at this part of the world just to watch the premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey last December 11, 2012. In the future, when I look back, I can say that I watched the premiere of The Hobbit on 12/12/12. I particularly love the scene where the dwarves start singing Misty Mountains. We never bothered for a review because no good words will be capable of describing this film except for the fact that everything you have hoped for in a JRR Tolkien masterpiece, is there. Peter Jackson never fails. Watching "The Hobbit" would be quite a reality you would want to last forever, especially if one watches it in 3D. For a sneak on the song that I like very much, a video of it is found below for viewing, from TheOneRing.net:
This game was created by Kabam. Inc., company responsible for other online games such as Legend Four, Rise of The Warriors, Kingdoms of Camelot, Edgeworld, Wartune, The Godfather: Five Families, and much more.
The Hobbit
Developers: Kabam
Promo Price: FREE
Some Features of this middle-earth action-packed multiplayer strategy game:
Players to battle or team with all over the world.
Alliances with other leaders can be forged!
Rid the land of goblins and build training facilities for it.
Enemies will definitely be conquered, across Middle Earth.
Receive daily tokens from Gollum and win prizes!
First, you have to choose which side you will be first: the Elves or the Dwarves. I chose Elves and I had Legolas to protect me for 7 days, as a beginner.
Missions are different, but generally the same. Build, train, and conquer! Receive free Mithril when you sign up for a Kabam account. You can use Mithril to help build up your kingdom.
Important thing is to rebuild the population and defend yourself against possible enemies, like any strategy game.
The basic idea is good, and the GUI definitely works. Although, for people using only an iPhone, usability is poor. Everything is slow and the iPhone screen is not suitable for this kind of game at all since there is a lot of things to keep track of. We would advise for you to actually use an iPad instead. Using an iPhone will definitely take out the fun of playing this game.
One of the best parts is Gollum's Token as Daily Free Play. I received 20,000 stone I was able to use for my supplies.
Aside from this article, there are six other sites who were able to write reviews or something about The Hobbit. You can click on them through the following links:
If you want to try this game out yourself, click The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth for more information on downloading the game. Hurry now and don't miss out on this free game!
Leave us a comment and tell us what you think of this game! :) And if you liked this article, follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates on free iPhone apps and other digital deals before they expire.
